The Ambient Devices CR2D09 Mist 2-Day Weather Forecaster Clock Radio provides an instant, hands-free view of today's current and forecast weather conditions, and what's expected for tomorrow. The Mist 2-Day Weather Forecaster receives a radio signal with forecast data from AccuWeather via a national pager network broadcast in 150 U.S. locations, with no internet connection, computer, or subscription fee required.
Featuring a large, adjustable backlit display, the Ambient Devices CR2D09 simultaneously shows the time, dual alarm settings, current conditions (text format), and easy-to-read icons for today and tomorrow's forecast weather conditions and high/low temperatures. The Mist's controls are simple to use and the time is synchronized over the network so it's always accurate. You can wake to your choice of either an alarm or the radio, which features digital tuning, five radio station presets, and optional RDS data for song and station information. The CR2D09 includes a large snooze button and unique pop-up buttons that indicate the status of each alarm.
Ambient Devices weather forecasters are operational only within the United States (including Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico) and limited to the 150 cities/suburbs covered by the Ambient Information Network, which runs over existing paging networks (rural area coverage is unlikely). Before you purchase this product, please check to see if your specific location is within the coverage area. You can enter your zipcode into Ambient Devices signal coverage map to make sure the device will receive the network's signal.
