Do you sell brand new products?

 

 

 

We only sell brand new, factory-sealed products. This assures that any product you receive from us is new, factory-fresh merchandise. All of the products we sell are covered by a manufacturer's warranty and contain all items and manuals included in the box by the manufacturer.

Do you sell outside of the U.S. and Canada?

   
 

At this time we are only authorized to sell within the United States and Canada. Also, our products are manufactured for use in North America and utilize transmission frequencies that may not be authorized in other parts of the world. If you're looking for a dealer in your area, we suggest you contact the manufacturer directly and they'll be glad to find someone who can help you.

Item prices in effect at the time of purchase reflect daily market conditions, foreign exchange rates, and the dynamic nature of retailing on the web. The more aggressive the marketplace is, the more frequent price changes occur. As such, we are unable to provide a price protection guarantee or a credit for price changes that have occurred after your order has been processed for shipment.

How do I place an order?

 

 

 

Online: The easiest way to place an order is to use our online, secure order form. Simply add the items to your shopping cart, select a shipping method, and proceed to the checkout page. It's safe, secure, and easy to use!

By Phone: You may place orders by phone at 888-992-2270. Our normal hours are 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Eastern Time, Monday - Friday (excluding major holidays).

By Mail or Fax: If you would prefer ordering by mail or fax, add the items to your shopping cart and select a shipping method. Then, instead of proceeding to the online checkout, press the button labeled "Order By Mail/Fax". This will provide you with a form that can be printed, then mailed or faxed. If you choose to mail the form, you may pay with check or money order. If you pay with a personal check, a wait period of ten (10) days will apply to your order.

Do I have to pay sales tax?

 

 

 

Only orders delivered to the Commonwealth of Virginia pay sales tax. The current rate is 5.0%.

How can I change or cancel an order?

   
 

Please note that once an order has been processed through to shipping we may not be able to change or cancel it. Please call us immediately at 888-992-2270 and we will advise you if the change or cancellation can be accomplished. Please DO NOT EMAIL US if you need to make a change or cancel your order as we may not see your email right away. If we are not able to accommodate your request and your package is shipped, our return policy will apply. Please be aware that all refused shipments or order cancellations while the package is en route are subject to a 15% restocking fee and all associated shipping costs will not be refunded.

Do you accept purchase orders?

 

 

 

We accept purchase orders from government agencies and public service organizations within the United States. Unfortunately, we cannot accept purchase orders from individuals, private companies, or organizations outside of the United States.

When will my order be shipped?

 

 

 

The stock status for each item is displayed once the item is placed in your shopping cart. In-stock orders placed before 3:00 PM Monday through Friday are shipped the same day. In-stock orders placed on evenings, weekends, or major holidays are shipped the following business day. Orders that are not in stock are shipped the same day the product arrives at our warehouse.

Unless instructed otherwise, multiple item orders are held until all items are in stock. If you have placed a multiple item order and wish to have us ship the in-stock items immediately, please send an email to support@weathershack.com.

If you have already placed an order, you can check the status anytime using our Order Status Utility.

How can I check the status of my order and get the UPS tracking number?

 

 

 

You should receive an email from UPS containing the tracking number once your package has left our location. The email will be sent to the address you provide on our order form. Please note that if you have spam-blocking controls activated, you may not receive UPS and/or WeatherShack emails.

Additionally, you can check the status of your order at anytime using our Order Status Utility.

Before doing anything else, we suggest that you read the owners manual carefully. The manufacturers do an excellent job of explaining the features of each unit in the manual. In addition, most manuals have a troubleshooting section to address common problems.

My unit is less than 30 days old and I am having technical problems, what should I do?

 

 

 

If your unit is less than 30 days old and you are having problems, please follow these steps:

  • If the unit is physically damaged out of the box, please send an email to support@weathershack.com with details of the problem and we'll get you taken care of right away. If you are having other technical problems, please continue with the next step.

  • Read the owners manual and check the troubleshooting section. The manufacturers do an excellent job of putting the manuals together, and many common problems are addressed in the manual.

  • Call the manufacturer's technical support number for assistance. They can be reached at the numbers below. Your satisfaction is very important to us. If you receive anything less than satisfaction when dealing with a manufacturer, we want to hear from you. Our primary goal is your satisfaction.

If the technical support representative determines that a replacement is necessary, you may handle it through the manufacturer or through us.

If you choose to have us replace the unit, please send an email to support@weathershack.com advising the name of the support representative you spoke with and that he/she determined that the unit needs to be replaced. We will then provide you with instructions on how to proceed (usually within one business day).

My unit is over 30 days old and I am having technical problems, what should I do?

 

 

 

If you are having technical problems or the product proves to be defective after 30 days of the original invoice date, the terms of the manufacturer's warranty will apply and you will need to contact them directly. Please understand that we supply products, we do not warranty products, and after 30 days the manufacturer must be contacted. There may be instances when the manufacturer, once they have been contacted, will ask that we help in the replacement process. If this is the case, we will assist you and the manufacturer with the return process, however it will be necessary for you to contact the manufacturer first.

If you've had your unit longer than 30 days and are having problems, please follow these steps:

What is your return policy?

 

 

 

WeatherShack.com offers a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. If for any reason you are not happy with the product you ordered, return it within 30 days and you can request an identical replacement item, exchange the product for another product, or receive a refund (less shipping charges). Items must be in the original, undamaged manufacturer's packaging with all packaging materials, including instruction booklets, packing inserts, plastic bags, and blank warranty cards.

Please note that some manufacturers have specific return restrictions with regard to problems experienced with their products. Please see the "Manufacturer Restrictions" section below.

You will be responsible for all shipping and insurance charges for returns, unless otherwise indicated below. We suggest you use a traceable shipping carrier such as FedEx or UPS and insure your items for full value (be sure to keep your tracking number!) as you will be responsible for any loss or damage.

When returning an item, please place the product back into the manufacturer's packaging and DO NOT mark up or ship your return using the manufacturer's box, pack the item securely in a second shipping box to protect the merchandise and manufacturer's box from damage. We cannot accept returns that were shipped back to us using only the manufacturer's packaging.

Should you wish to return a purchase for any reason you MUST contact us first! Please send an email to support@weathershack.com and we will provide you with instructions on how to proceed (usually within one business day). Please be aware that we will refuse shipment of any return sent back to us without authorization.

Please see one of the following sections for additional information concerning the type of return you are requesting: return for damage, defect, or incorrect product - return for exchange - return for refund.

Any returns authorized after 30 days are solely at our discretion and the return will only be eligible for in store credit.

Returning A Product That Is Defective, Damaged, Or Sent In Error

If you receive a product that wasn't what you ordered, or appears to be defective or damaged, please send an email to support@weathershack.com advising us of the situation. One of our representatives will respond with instructions on how to proceed (usually within one business day). Please note that some manufacturers have specific return restrictions with regard to problems experienced with their products. Please see the "Manufacturer Restrictions" section below.

We will pay the shipping charges, furnishing you a return label to ship the item back to us and shipping the replacement to you at our expense. This offer is valid only for customers residing within the Continental United States due to the high cost of shipping products back to us from outside of the 48 states. If you are outside of the Continental US you will be responsible for the cost of sending the product back to us, however we will cover the cost of shipping the replacement to you.

Defective product replacement processing time may vary depending on daily return volume but it's typically completed within 1-2 business days (Monday through Friday). Processing time may exceed three business days during January because of holiday season returns. As an option, we can send the replacement product to you before we receive your return by charging your credit card, then issuing a refund when the returning product arrives at our warehouse. Should you wish to take advantage of this option, please call us toll-free at 888-992-2270.

Please note that if you choose to return the defective item for a refund rather than replace it, we will refund the original purchase price less our actual outbound shipping costs. In the case of expedited shipping methods, if your purchase qualified for free shipping, the shipping charges withheld will be higher than the amount originally paid since the estimated cost to ship the order via UPS Ground was deducted from the expedited option.

Returning A Product To Exchange For Another

If your unit was purchased within 30 days and you wish to exchange it for another product, please send an email to support@weathershack.com with details explaining what you would like to do. One of our representatives will respond with instructions on how to proceed (usually within one business day). You are responsible for the cost of return shipping on the product you send back. If applicable, any shipping charges you paid originally will not be credited towards the exchange.

Returning A Product For A Refund

If your unit was purchased within 30 days and you wish to return it for a refund, please send an email to support@weathershack.com to let us know. A representative will respond with instructions on how to proceed (usually within one business day). Once our warehouse receives the returned merchandise, we will refund the original purchase price of the product less our actual outbound shipping costs, and you are responsible for the cost of return shipping on the product you are returning. In the case of expedited shipping methods, if your purchase qualified for free shipping, the shipping charges withheld will be higher than the amount originally paid since the estimated cost to ship the order via UPS Ground was deducted from the expedited option.

Refund processing time may vary depending on daily return volume but it's typically completed within 1-2 business days (Monday through Friday). Processing time may exceed three business days during January, due to holiday season returns. Note that completion of the entire electronic banking system refund transaction process (from payment gateway batch processing to your credit card provider account) can take several days (it is not instantaneous).

Canadian Customers

Please be advised that if for any reason (including defect) an item is returned for exchange, refund, or replacement, we will not reimburse or cover any additional charges such as return shipping, taxes, duty, or brokerage fees. Please also be aware that all refused shipments are subject to a 15% restocking fee and all associated shipping costs (our actual outbound and return shipping costs) and related fees and taxes will not be refunded.

What should I do if the package arrives damaged?

   
 

If you notice that the shipping box is significantly damaged, please refuse delivery by the carrier. If you are unable to do so, please save the product and all packaging, and immediately notify WeatherShack Customer Service at 888-992-2270 or send an email to support@weathershack.com to arrange for a carrier inspection and pickup of the damaged product. Timely receipt of this information is necessary for us to file a damage claim.

What are the implications if the delivery address I provided was incorrect and the package is undeliverable?

   
 

UPS charges a $10.00 fee to intercept a package and reroute it to another delivery address. This includes correcting an address error and the customer is responsible for this additional fee. If you find that the address you provided is incorrect, please call our toll-free number immediately and we can make the necessary changes with UPS and charge your credit card for the intercept fee. Should the package be returned to us, all associated shipping costs (our actual outbound and return shipping costs) will not be refunded. In the case of expedited shipping methods, if your purchase qualified for free shipping, the shipping charges withheld will be higher than the amount originally paid since the estimated cost to ship the order via UPS Ground was deducted from the expedited option.
