Nielsen-Kellerman was the first to provide accurate relative humidity measurements from a hand held weather meter, and the Kestrel 3000 has since become almost required equipment for wildland firefighters. With improved humidity response, and with heat stress index and wet bulb readings, the Kestrel 3000 provides environmental information to let you know when conditions become unhealthy for strenuous exercise. Dew point temperature information is vital for snow making and agricultural spraying.
