The WR606 SAME (Specific Area Message Encoding) programming capability allows you to monitor for severe weather or other alerts in up to nine different area counties, such as hurricanes, tornadoes, floods and other severe weather events in addition to civil emergencies, Amber alerts, and much more. This feature also allows you to monitor only local alerts and filter out distant warnings.
