I absolutely love this radio! It is perfect and the day I received it and programmed it, we had severe weather all night. This is wonderful and I wish I would have bought it sooner. It definitely alerts me to the severe possible weather coming.

This is exactly what I was looking. It's unobtrusive but available on the counter. It's easy to program too. WeatherShack.com forgot to send batteries though.

I am quite pleased with the radio and thus far, it functions as described. It gives peace of mind that future weather events may be preceded by a bit more warning, especially at night.

This is the second weather radio I have purchased recently from Weather Shack. Both have lived up to my needs. This radio has to be plugged in, instead of haveing a charging base, as the first 1 I purchased did. That modle was no longer available. Both are quality units, but I perfer the radion with a charging base over this 1 which requires you to plug a cord into it.

I like the fact that it comes on for my county and then stops. I can turn it off if it continues to keep coming on. I can put it on stand by, a very nice feature. It's small so I can put it on table by my bed, and I can take it with me anywhere because it runs on batteries too.

4 stars Works as advertised

It works, but I had some trouble finding a place in the house where it would pick up the signal. This could be as much where I live as a fault with the antenna. Other than that, it sits there quietly on standby, and sounds a loud alarm when there is a warning.
