The Speedtech Instruments SM-18 SkyMate Handheld Wind Meter with Temperature has been a Speedtech best-seller for many years. The SkyMate's convenient pocketknife design, features, accuracy, and price make this a great value in a handheld unit. Unlike many other wind meters, the pocketknife case allows more precise wind speed readings because the users hand is away from the wind impeller, which then measures undisturbed air flow.

The SkyMate is water resistant, floats, has a high-visibility case and tripod fitting. For the most precise measurements, it can be used with Speedtech's wind tunnel (model SM-WT).
