Thermometers
Temperature is one of the two most basic of weather variables (the other being humidity) and all of us are interested in what they are right now and what they will be in the future. Current and forecast temperatures help us plan our day and even the upcoming week or month. Long-range forecasts help various interests plan well into the future. To all of us, knowing the current and future temperature is important.
Analog thermometers measure temperature using either a bulb (tube thermometer) or a special spring (dial thermometer) in which a physical change occurs with temperature and is displayed on the scale of the device. Digital thermometers typically have an electronic sensor that's placed outside, which transmits it's measurements to the indoor display by a radio signal. These digital thermometers have the advantage of being able to send and record data automatically and many are able to accept the inputs from multiple temperature sensors.
Digital ThermometersDigital thermometers are a great choice for their easy-to-read displays and affordable pricing. Typically they include additional features such as indoor/outdoor temperature and minimum/maximum readings memory. Some also include barometric pressure measurements. |

Traditional Analog ThermometersObtaining accurate temperature readings is a common yet important aspect of our daily lives and we carry a wide variety of traditional analog thermometers that are useful for a multitude of different purposes. |
|
Classic Dial ThermometersClassic dial thermometers use a bimetallic spring-like coil that is sensitive to heat. Attached to the coil is a pointer and as temperature increases or decreases the pointer rotates around a fixed dial. |
|
Classic Tube ThermometersOur line of classic bulb thermometers measure temperature through a glass tube sealed with a liquid that expands or contracts as the temperature rises or falls. |
|
Handheld & Pocket ThermometersBesides taking temperature measurements, many of our handheld and pocket thermometers offer a variety of other weather variable measurements. |
