DESCRIPTION

OVERVIEW

The AcuRite 06004RM PRO 5-in-1 Integrated Multi-Weather Sensor can be used as a replacement for an existing AcuRite 5-in-1 Weather Station. This product does not come with a display. The display must be purchased separately. The single solar panel powers an internal aspirating fan that draws ambient air through to reduce the heating effects of solar radiation, resulting in a more accurate air temperature measurement. Providing highly precise and easy-to-understand comprehensive data about the elements right in your backyard. The sensor is easy to setup and features a 2-year battery life for maintenance-free operation. The Integrated Multi-Weather Sensor is completely wireless that features a self-emptying tipping bucket rain collector for measuring rainfall, temperature, humidity, wind speed and direction. The integrated multi-weather sensor is battery operated.

ACUrite 5 in 1 Weather Station

This is my third Weather Station. First one got done in in a Hail storm. Second one was in a high wind storm, pulled two screws out and it turned upside down and filled with water. NONE of the problems was caused from the Weather Station, all was freak weather conditions. They tell you everything going on and are so accurate. I couldn't be without one now.

A great weather sensor. Gives up to the minute weather conditions. Easy to set up and maintain. This is my second AcuRite 5-in-1 weather sensor. The first lasted for 5 years in very harsh conditions.

After failures of TWO Oregon Scientific units I switched to the AcuRite. One AcuRite pretty much blew away in a storm because I had not fastened it securely. Replace with the identical sensor because it is highly reliable and much sturdier than the Oregon Scientific. AcuRite does what it claims, no "down times" in the years I had the last one and finally, customer service at AcuRite is actually helpful and competent (unlike OS brand).

AcuRite Weather Sensor

We had to replace our sensor on our 5-1 AcuRite Weather Station. Although we lost all the old data, the new sensor works great, just like the old one did until it finally wore out. Service was speedy and ordering was easy.
