DESCRIPTION

OVERVIEW

The AcuRite 06053M Wireless Sensor Signal Repeater extends the wireless range of compatible AcuRite sensors. Ideal for large coverage areas that require additional distance than the 330 feet standard transmission range. The AcuRite 06053M may be used to boost the signal around walls or other structures that can interfere with RF transmission. Each signal repeater will extend the wireless range an additional 330 feet. Up to (3) three repeaters may be used in a series and can extend the range for up to (12) twelve sensors at a time depending on sensor compatibility.*

I suppose that if one were to have a station 30' overhead, this would be relevant, but as I previously owned an earlier model of this station, the booster seems superfluous, but how does one know? It all works and that is what is the proof in the pudding.

This was very helpful! My classroom is connected to a pole barn-work shed, and the metal really decreased the reception to the Weather Shack. This solved the problem.

Even though my 5 in 1 station is within the recommended distance from my house, it was dropping signal every day or two. I think we just have too many walls between the station and the display. Since I added the repeater, everything has been perfect.
