This is exactly what I wanted to replace the old one.

It is on my bathroom sink and at a glance, I see the outside temp so I know how to dress. I also see the time to make sure I am not running late. The inside temp is just a bit of a bonus.

The outdoor part of the device required us to place a sensor outside in a shaded location. As we live in a high rise with a southern exposure this is not possible. I call customer service and was told that outdoor readings for indoor units via a wire that runs out the window are no longer made.
