Had to believe that something made out of thick plastic as this piece is could crack. During a severe storm with large hail in mid-July, the original did just that. This replacement part was shipped promptly & equally important the cost of shipping was very reasonable. Kudos to Weathershack.com!

Dropped my old funnel on some rocks and it cracked, but didn't shatter. I decided to reface it with a new funnel and it fits perfectly and appears to be very strong.

Replaceent for chipped funnel on rain gauge received quickly

I was glad to be able to buy a replacement funnel for my STRATUS rain gauge, and it came very quickly after I placed my order. I had previously bought a new mounting bracket from Weather Shack, but the funnel was not available at the time. I am a CoCoRaHS volunteer and report precipitation every day from this weather-service approved gauge.
