The RainWise MKIIIRTI features all outside sensor components combined together into a single, compact, easy to install unit. If you require a longer range system, the MKIIIRTI-LR transmits over one mile, line of sight!

The wireless, rugged outdoor sensor array runs completely on solar power. The MKIII solar charged battery supply is guaranteed to provide continuous operation below 60 degrees latitude and will operate for at least 60 days without sun.

Unless you're purchasing the unit as a replacement, the MKIIIRTI sensor array requires a RainWise Display and/or the optional Computer/Network Interface. The sensor array can broadcast weather data to multiple displays, computers or network interfaces. The sensor array transmits a packet of data every two seconds offset by 30 seconds.

Note: We do carry magnetic compasses to help you orient your anemometer to true north. Those can be located under the "Accessories" tab. For more information on set up, please visit the anemometer page on our WeatherShack education center.

5 stars Great Weather Station
The weather system is very straightforward to setup and the rain wise net internet web connection is very professional looking. You can get a yearly subscription for the pro version which gives more information and the $60 per year is worth it. They do let you have a free 30 days trial period so that you can check it out to see if the features are worth you investing in this package.

5 stars RainWise MK-III
Our first RainWise WS2000 (an early version of the MK-III) lasted 14 years requiring minor maintenance: new battery every 3 yrs., one anemometer, temp. sensor, and two rain gauge switches over the period. Simply swapped out the old for the new and was back in business. Please note that RainWise is phasing out the 418Mhz version of the popular MK-III for the long range version so get'em while you can.

5 stars RainWise Weather Station (sensor array)
Yes, it's VERY expensive equipment. But, if accuracy and durability are important to you, this is the way to go (wireless, and no batteries to change, too!). Pay up front, and you'll sleep better than with lesser stuff. BTW, I found the WeatherShack folks to be customer-focused, competitively priced, and VERY easy to work with - for BOTH sales and tech support. That says good things about them (and, no: I don't know them personally :).

5 stars Best I have ever owned
I have had five previous weather stations. This seems the best built and coming reassembled was a nice plus.

4 stars High wind warning
Seems like a well built weather station just a little worried if the light weight solar panel and support will be able to with stand the 100mph winds we get around here. Will update after the next big storm. Installed new on 2/4/14

4 stars Assembly and Oracle display review
First of all, ordering from WeatherShack was great; ordered on July 30, and received on August 1. Setting this system up was very easy. The assembly was right out of the box, on to the mount, turn it on, and it immediately started working. I don't have the ideal place to mount so it is mounted to my deck using the RainWise Mono Mount. As far as the display, I like that you can see it from across the room. My only complaint is that it does not display heat index, but rather THI, temp/humidity index. Also on occasion, when there is no wind, the wind direction display will change for no reason and after a few seconds settle back to the right direction. Otherwise, I am very pleased with this station and would recommend it.
