Important Information for Canadian Customers

Please be advised that additional fees WILL BE COLLECTED from the recipient when the package arrives. These additional charges are solely the responsibility of the customer/recipient under any and all circumstances. If for any reason (including defect) the item is returned for exchange, refund, or replacement, we will not reimburse or cover such charges.

Please also be aware that if a customer chooses to refuse a shipment or cancel an order while the package is en route, the customer will be responsible for all associated shipping costs (our actual outbound and return shipping costs) and any related fees and taxes. These charges will not be refunded under any and all circumstances, unless the package was sent in error on our part. In the case of expedited shipping methods, if your purchase qualified for free shipping, the shipping charges withheld will be higher than the amount originally paid since the estimated cost to ship the order via the free shipping method was deducted from the expedited option.

ALL CANADIAN SHIPMENTS (regardless of shipping option) will be assessed Goods & Service Tax, Provincial Sales Tax, and Duty (if applicable). The carrier will convert the value of your shipment to Canadian funds based on current exchange rates.

In addition, STANDARD GROUND UPS service is assessed DISBURSEMENT and BROKERAGE FEES (which can be considerable). We recommend that you select Expedited or Express UPS service when you place your order as these options will eliminate the brokerage fees, leaving only the Disbursement Fees, Taxes (GST & PST), and Duty (if applicable). You can also eliminate disbursement fees by contacting UPS Canada after you receive your tracking number and ask about the pre-payment or Electronic Fee Transfer options.

Orders being shipped via the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) are not subject to disbursement or brokerage fees.

If your order is being shipped to someone other than yourself, we strongly suggest that you advise them that the order is coming to avoid surprises, refusals, etc. They will be subject to collection of the associated fees.

To receive an estimate of what the charges may be upon receipt of your package being shipped by UPS Standard Ground, please access the Canadian shipment calculator at TheFinalCost.com.
