WeatherShack.com guarantees your absolute 100% satisfaction. Should you wish to return a purchase for any reason within our 60 Day Satisfaction Guarantee period you must Contact Us first. Please send an email to email@example.com, please include the invoice number, the name originally used to place the order, the reason for the return and if you wish to return the product for either a replacement, refund or an exchange. Once WeatherShack has received your email, we will provide you with instructions on how to proceed (usually within one business day). Any returns authorized after 60 days are at our discretion and the return will only be eligible for in store credit.
Please note: Some manufacturers have specific return restrictions with regard to problems experienced with their products. Please see the Manufacturer Restrictions section below.
Processing time may vary depending on daily return volume however your return will typically be processed within 1-3 business days of being received.
Is the item you received not what you expected? Whatever the reason, you won't be stuck with an item you can't use or that you don't want. We are proud to offer one of the best return policies available! For your protection, when sending back merchandise, we suggest using a trackable shipping carrier such as FedEx or UPS. You may also wish to insure your return for its full value. We are not responsible for packages that are lost or damaged in transit back to our warehouse.
Return for Exchange:
In your package, please provide the new item number you wish to exchange for. You are responsible for the cost of return shipping on merchandise you send back. We will contact you to obtain payment if the new product cost is greater than the available credit for the product you returned. If the available credit is greater than the exchange, WeatherShack.com will refund the difference to the method of payment used for the original purchase. Please note that if the new product cost is less than $50, you will be responsible for the outbound shipping cost of the new item.
Return for Refund:
Once our warehouse receives the returned merchandise, we will refund the original purchase price of the merchandise (less any shipping fees paid). Refund processing time may vary depending on daily return volume, however your refund will typically be processed within 1-3 business days.
If you receive a product that wasn't what you ordered, is defective or damaged, we will gladly email you a return label to ship the item back to us at our expense.
Return for Replacement:
Once our warehouse receives the returned merchandise, we will ship a replacement to you at our expense using our Free Shipping method. Processing time may vary depending on daily return volume, however your return will typically be processed within 1-3 business days. As an option, we can send a replacement to you before we receive your return by charging your credit card for the replacement. We will then process a refund for the cost of the product on the original order (less any shipping fees paid) when the returning product arrives at our warehouse. Return for Refund:
Once our warehouse receives the returned merchandise, we will issue a refund for the cost of the merchandise to the method of payment used for the original purchase. If your merchandise did not originally qualify for free shipping, we will also refund the cost of the least expensive shipping method that your order qualified for (see the "Shipping Expenses" section below for more information on shipping fees). Refund processing time may vary depending on daily return volume, however your refund will typically be processed within 1-3 business days.
Fees paid for shipping are only eligible for credit or refund in the following circumstances:
Non-Timely Deliveries: If the ship method you selected was a guaranteed method and the package did not arrive as promised, we will refund shipping costs subject to UPS or USPS terms and conditions of service. Please note that if the courier deems the service failure was due to something beyond their control (including weather), shipping fees are not eligible for refund.
Defective or Damaged Items: If you receive a defective or damaged item and choose to receive a refund (as opposed to getting a replacement), we will refund the least expensive form of shipping that your order qualified for. All products are new and sent in good faith. Fees paid for expedited shipping and international shipping fees (brokerage, duty, taxes) are not eligible for credit or refund.
Mis-Shipped Items: If you receive an item that is different from the item you ordered, we will either refund the shipping fees paid or ship the correct item to you using the shipping method you selected.
For Canadian customers, our standard return policy applies however please note the following: When your order arrives, additional fees, such as; duty, taxes, or brokerage fees will be collected from the recipient. These additional charges are solely the responsibility of the customer/recipient. If for any reason (including defect) the item is returned for exchange, refund, or replacement, we will not reimburse or cover such charges.

If you notice that the shipping box is significantly damaged, please refuse delivery by the carrier. If you are unable to do so, please save the product and all packaging, and immediately contact WeatherShack Customer Service to arrange for a carrier inspection and pickup of the damaged product. Timely receipt of this information is necessary for us to file a damage claim.
If you choose to refuse a shipment or cancel an order while the package is en route, you are responsible for all associated return shipping costs and any related fees. The return charges will not be refunded unless the package was sent in error on our part. In addition, any shipping costs paid during checkout are not eligible for refund or credit.
If your package hasn't yet arrived and was shipped via UPS, there is an option to intercept and reverse the package for $15.00. This is a UPS imposed fee and is the responsibility of the customer. Please contact us if you would like to reverse an order shipped via UPS that is currently en route to you.
Packages sent via U.S. Mail:
We have no way of reversing or rerouting U.S. Mail packages once they have left our facility. If the address provided is close, the package may still get delivered. If only the street address contains an error, you may wish to contact your local post office and request assistance with the matter. If the package cannot be delivered, it will likely be returned to our facility by the postal service. Upon receiving the package, we are happy to resend the package to the correct address. Unless the address error was made by WeatherShack, we do kindly request reimbursement of shipping fees to the incorrect address.
Packages sent via UPS:
In many cases we are able to reroute UPS charges while they are in transit. If you find that the address you provided is incorrect, please call our toll-free number immediately and we will make the necessary changes with UPS. Please note: UPS charges a $15.00 intercept fee. Unless the address error was made by WeatherShack, the customer is responsible for the UPS fee.
Some manufacturers have implemented restrictions on products that have apparent problems. This prevents us from being able to accept these products back for replacement without their authorization. If you are having problems with your product and it was manufactured by one of the manufacturers below, please contact them directly for assistance. If the manufacturer determines that the product is defective and under warranty, they will either offer to repair/replace the product or refer you back to WeatherShack. You must Contact Us if you wish to receive a refund for a defective product.
All of these manufacturers are known for providing premium service and will strive to resolve your problem right away. If you receive anything less than satisfaction while working with the manufacturer, please contact us and we will be happy to get involved.
