We live in Inland Southern California and we worried that our sensor would be inaccurate in our extreme summer heat. It's not hot yet, but it sure will be. The shield was easy to attach to the sensor, and easy to hang on a post in our garden.

Better than expected

Prior to this purchase my sensor was mounted to a support post along a south facing covered porch. Although it was protected from direct sunlight, both humidity and temperature readings were not accurate. Once the sensor was placed in this sensor weather shield and located in an open space along the north side of my home, the readings were much more accurate. Recommended.
