Know what you breathe! The air inside and outside your home is invisible, even when it is dangerous. Breathing polluted air can lead to serious health issues, especially in children and adults with respiratory and health issues.

The Davis AirLink Professional Air Quality Sensor accurately measures airborne particulate matter (PM) for PM1, PM2.5, and PM10 to give you easy-to-understand graphs and color-coded Air Quality Index (AQI) readings based on inhalable particles that are small enough to penetrate deep into the lungs and enter the bloodstream. Measurements are taken by shining a laser through the air. Particles in the air reflect the laser and the sensor uses the reflection to determine the number and size of particles.

AirLink uploads your air quality data directly to the WeatherLink Cloud via Wi-Fi. You'll see your air quality on your phone or tablet with the WeatherLink app, or on your computer on It can be used as a stand-alone sensor, or added to your current weather station system that is being uploaded to via WeatherLink Live. You may add up to three sensors to your system. AirLink also interfaces with Alexa or Google Assistant! Low profile design with near-silent fan can be mounted indoors on a flat surface such as a counter or table top, or on a wall using the included mounting bracket. It can also be used in a protected outdoor location, mounted vertically and with the included outdoor sensor cover.

Use it inside to monitor the air quality in a nursery, playroom, bedroom, or your kitchen... wherever your family sleeps, plays, or breathes. Outside, know when particulate matter in the air like pollen, dust, or smoke from nearby wildfires make it wise to stay inside. With multiple AirLinks you can compare air quality inside and out. Know when to go out, when to open the windows and when to use your air filters.

Who Needs to Know the Air Quality?

  • Parents and Educators - The lungs of children are still developing, and their activity level is high. Every breath matters, whether they are running through the house, outside on the soccer field, or asleep in their bedrooms.
  • Anyone with Asthma - Asthma, bronchitis, and other respiratory illnesses can be triggered by slightly unhealthy air quality. Keeping track of inside and outside air quality lets you plan your activities without worry of an asthma attack.
  • Wildfire Locales - More and more people find themselves living or working in areas that are plagued by wildfires. Soot, smoke, and ash can affect people and animals for many miles beyond an active fire. Know how a fire, even miles away, is affecting your air quality.
  • Springtime Sneezers - Pollen, pet dander, or other invisible, but powerful, allergens can make a beautiful day into a miserable one. Keeping track of air quality inside and outside your home keeps allergy sufferers prepared.
  • City Life - Living in the city means breathing air that is shared by cars, trucks, and industry. That means that air might negatively affect your own health and the health of those you love.
  • Expectant Parents - Higher levels of inhalable particulate matter in the air an expectant mother breathes is tied to adverse pregnancy outcomes. Make sure your newest family member is developing with all the advantages you can provide.
  • Senior Citizens - Many seniors have diagnosed or undiagnosed heart or lung diseases that are exacerbated by poor quality air. Ensure the air breathed by the seniors you love is not actually shortening their lives.
  • Outdoor Exercisers and Athletes - When we exercise, we breathe deeper, faster, and more through our mouths. If there is a dangerous level of particles in the air, more of those particles are inhaled and end up deeper in our respiratory tract.
  • Indoor Exercisers and Workers - Many homes, gyms, and workplaces are so well sealed that fresh air never gets inside. Knowing the quality of indoor air keeps working out, or just working, safer for everyone.
  • Pet People - Dogs and cats add so much to our lives, including allergens to the air we breathe. They, and other pets like birds, fish, and reptiles can also be affected by poor air quality. Keep everyone in your family breathing safely, regardless of species.
  • Good Employers - Your employees may work with aerosols, paints, or machinery that creates dust; or in closed spaces with office machinery like copiers. Knowing the air is safe to breathe leads to better productivity and a healthier workforce.
  • Anyone Who Breathes - Since the air we breathe is invisible, you cant see when it is unsafe for our families, workers, pets, and livestock. But AirLink can see the danger and will let you know when to take action to keep those you care about safe.

With, you can build a personalized view using six different air quality tiles along with temperature, humidity and forecast weather tiles. The mapping feature allows you to explore AirLink and weather data from the largest network of personal weather stations in the world. You can graph air quality, temperature and humidity data or export raw historical data in an easy-to-use .csv format (Pro upgrade is required). Alarms via text or email can be set for high air quality readings. Your AirLink readings can also be easily shared with your community, family or friends. Upgrading to Pro or Pro+ allows you to access and analyze your historical data and increase data-logging frequency.

With the WeatherLink App, your real-time air quality data is delivered to your phone, whether from a stand-alone AirLink to multiple indoor and outdoor sensors. Includes the NowCast Air Quality Index (the EPA's standard for reflecting rapidly changing air quality - with a color-coded description of conditions), Air Quality Trend (offering a 24-hour graph to know precisely how your air quality is changing), Current Particulate Matter (see PM1, PM2.5, and PM10 data as it happens), and Additional Weather Data (temperature, humidity, dew point, heat index and wet bulb updated every minute!).

  • Color-coded Air Quality Index
(AQI) reading, based on current PM2.5 data. You may choose your preferred Air Quality Index (AQI) from a growing list, including the United States Air Quality Index, Air Quality Health Index (Canada) and many other international indices.
  • 6-hour Air Quality Chart
  • High AQI
  • NowCast Reading
NowCast shows the current air quality using the AQI colors and scales. It is calculated using the data for the current hour as well as multiple hours of past data. It uses a heavier averaging weight for recent hours of data and data that is changing rapidly. The NowCast reading is used in lieu of a 24-hour average, to give you a more useful indication of the danger of the air quality over that period. You can access your data on or the WeatherLink mobile app. Archive data (used in trends and NowCast) updates at user-selectable intervals every 15, 30 or 60 minutes. More frequent archive update intervals are available with Pro (5, 15, 30, 60), and Pro+ (1,5,15,30,60) tier subscriptions.

5 stars Very good Air Quality sensor
Our Son is very pleased with this product. If it also ran on batteries it would even be better. Provides much needed information about smoke from the California forest fires.

5 stars Super informative
I live in Calif wildfire country, another fire last week which is currently virtually contained. My AirLink in the morning was AQI 25, later that's same afternoon was rightfully AQI 306. I bought it for precisely this reason, and in conjunction with WeatherLink Live, I can monitor my home weather system from anywhere. If I evacuate, I can see from afar my home situation.

5 stars Sensitive to indoor cooking
I have been trying the unit inside my house. In general the air quality is good with readings of zero or 1. Cooking involving a frying pan sends the readings to moderate air quality with PM10 readings the highest. Amazing that cooking contaminates the inside air and it takes hours to return to good.

5 stars Easy to setup
I already had a weatherlink account for my vantage pro2 station. Adding the AirLink was quick and easy. Now I feel like I have a EPA quality air monitor.
